On 9-7-2010 at 2224 UTC the LST 325 radio room made contact with the International Space Station from our radio room.
This has got to be a world first. A WWII ship talking to a 2010 space ship.
What an honor.

That is really amazing.

I've seen the orbital passes of the ISS many times.

The next visible passes over Evansville will be 28 and 29 September.

I wish I would have been there to see your face, Bob! Were the guys on the space station as excited as you all were?
