I have looked through all of my personal resources and the web for some sign of an association between the Beatles and an LST ......closest I've come is a "Yellow Submarine" and a yellow LST used by the Austrialian Royal Navy in Antarctica.

Have mercy on me and divulge the secret.

Dr Phil might not be able to help you, so in this case you will have to settle for Dr Quinn.

Beware of Gators and you need Wings to fly.

......that's quite a few degrees of seperation? You win but don't worry about me; I live in my own little world but at least everybody knows me here.

"Live and Let Die" Roger Moore, Jane Seymour(Dr Quinn). Theme by Sir Paul McCartney(group "Wings") 1hr 38min into the movie (depending on the editing) a power boat is crashed through the open bow doors of of what appears to be LST 521. there are several hulks but that is the only one I have been able to Identify. I you frame it out on DVD you may be able to ID the rest if the Hulls.

I knew it had to be something easy, nothing as obscure and finding an Ivory Billed Woodpecker.

Steve did you know Mitz Gaynor also has a connection to LST's? http://www.Imdb.com/ really helps with the movie trivia. I was surprised Michael Smith didn't jump on it. Some of the Guy's will jump on trivia like a bird on a June Bug. SeaBat is the one who prodded me to post it after I told her about it. Pat Boone was the singing XO refered to in a past SitRep.
