4 Classes Down... 6 to go. I am starting to get the hang of this!

Today we studied radio waves, atmosphere conditions, grounding, and began studying set ups...

If they have you doing set ups in class you should be in great shape when you graduate.
Next week, jumping jacks.

Keep up the good work Sea Bat.

This is a CW (code) prosign. The "de" means "from" and is used when calling another station. After sending their callsign, you insert "de" and give your callsign. Simple stuff, right? Keep going, gal...

(no call) DE W8AU K (K means "go ahead," your turn)

I'm patient...I'll wait 'til you get that license.

Oh Chris, you crack me up... I'll check with Too Tall to make sure that's right... lol. Not that you'd ever mislead me or anything.

TKS Perry... and Bob! I'm determined to make you proud of me. Tomorrow is practice test night, so we'll see how I do.
