The name is Wild bee hive and the harvestable product is Honey comb.
Here's the code that should be added to the end of flora_berries.txt above the -end statement
Code: Select all
.Wild Bee hive. (1) :28: [berry] [NAME:Honey comb] [SIZE:L] [QUANTITY:3] [SPROUT:3] [MATURE:120] [WITHER:10] [REGION:eastern western northern southern] [TERRAIN:settlement] [EFFECT_RAW:appetizing] [POPULATION:1] [FREQUENCY:1] [COMMONNESS:50] [CARB:56] [FAT:1] [PROTEIN:0] [WATER:0] [HERB_KNOWN:all]
In this code the hives spawn only at settlements at about 50% chance that one will be there.
Hives start in all four regions and adding additional terrains can be done to meet your preference.
I have the population and frequency both set to 1 so as to only make one hive in an area.
The median harvest amount is set at (3) seems to produce 1~5 honey combs.
The hives start in March, taking 120 days to mature, so around July. The hive should die by October.
*To change or add terrains simply edit the line:
Let's say you want to add all mires change line to:
[TERRAIN:settlement open_mire spruce_mire pine_mire]
and next season they will grow there.
*Valid Terrain types Thanks @Rain
barren - lichenous pine forest
clearing - any open area
cliff - mountain/rock
dry - heathland, pine forests
dryish - kind of an under construction tag which has only a little use.
fresh - conifer/spruces forests
grove - map type
meadow - map type
open_mire - map type
pine_mire - map type
settlement - actual village map
spruce_mire - map type
wetland - any water edge
*Note* This mod requires this bigsprite as the graphic location is a blank in the original.
I've attached a modified bigsprite.png which contains the bee hive images addition.
The new graphic did not replace any original graphics. It contains the hive stages and the honey comb when set on the ground.
I hope you enjoy it
