1. Pups on the Patio. DEFINITELY worth going to if you're a dog nut like me (My Shih Tzu, Bugsy is pretty much my kid). Cocktails, food, dogs, just a great time in general. Kicks off tonight at Lux (old Gibby's) and the area called "The Patio" where the bands always played.

2. Tacos + Beer. This sounds too good to be true, but isn't. Free beer, free tacos, and basically you just show up and enjoy it! Premiere party is tomorrow night at Gay and Pearl. It's just what it sounds like.

Finally, we've started preparations for Show Columbus 2006. Last year it was a huge success, this year it should set a new standard. This is a showcase for the visual, performing, and musical artists of our city and an absolute blast! More info as it's available ;

About 60% of my work is networking, which these are GREAT for. Tacos and Beer for example, was co-sponsored by ReSource...which is one of my clients

I have to admit, I was hurting a bit after Pups on the Patio though...FUN night! (plus Stella and Blue Moon for only 2 bucks, which you just can't beat!)

I graduated in '71, and sat with you and John Gibeaut at your party at the Bogey last year. Hot night, weird fun!

I represent the Jim Lynch Band, and I wonder if you have anything to do with booking the entertainment for any of these cool events? If you do (or can forward this info to anyone who does), please visit: http://www.JimLynchBand.com to check out the schedule (so you can come out to see them if you want to), and to check the song list, bios, and "props" from our clients.

Then feel free to e-mail me about any events for which you think the JLB might be a good fit. We like to keep our calendar full, and these events llok like they're right up our alley.

Thanks, Dave!

Hey again, Dave --

I've been doing volunteer grief counselling on a pet loss web site for a few years now. I just thought I'd mention that since you're a pup person. Good for you!

I hope Mr. Bugsy drove home from Pups On The Patio. LOL.

Also, with all your networking, if you happen to know of a Literary Agent, I could sure use a hook-up for a book I'm working on. I've had a little trouble finding one locally, and I'm ready to submit my idea and most of the manuscript.

Geeze-a-loo! I had you confused with another, older Dave, who shall remain nameless. It's either Old Timers' or the fact that I was awakened from a sound sleep about an hour ago, and haven't been able to resume slumber yet. Sorry for the confusion, but I'd still appreciate your help! Must be time to ht the sack again.
