is it just me or does this team have the easiest route to another championship... given they win there division they play 1 less game then the teams in the other group

This is what happens when you let them host the tournament every year...Their Novice's have the buy
as well despite the fact Clarington has been the better team so far this year.

The OLA sets up the draw, not anybody from Whitby and in the Tyke's case they deserve the #1 seed and the bye that comes with it when you have a 12 team A division. I agree it is a bit suspect that the Novice's got the top seed and the bye as Clarington has been the top team in Novice all year.

Why not have the team with the best record after the round robin get the buy ??
