Doesn't he still have this year at Cuse before he can be drafted?

The MLL has a new idea to hold the draft now for seniors that are in their last year of school. It kind of helps the profile of college Lacrosse.

...a couple questions, please clarify for me.

I understand many American Citizen D1 players never appear in the big Lax leagues due to career tracking precluding the time commitments required. Now I see Army players on the list. Don't these guys have Defence Department obligations that would prevent them from participating as well?

I attended the draft as I was already down there for the US Lacrosse Conevtnion. Stu Brown explained the decision to go after the Army player to us but I can't remember exactly what his words were. However, the Army player will be around to play this year if he makes the lineup.

College lacrosse has a much, much higher profile in the US than the MLL. College lacrosse needs no help from the MLL in order to raise its profile. In fact, this is the MLL trading on the popularity of college lacrosse to boost its profile.

Certainly the truth, just not through the rose coloured glasses of the MLL I guess.
