Wow, straight to the jaded for you eh Gary?
Very classy.

Congrats to a very much improved, and very deserving Owen Sound squad for their success getting to the finals.
A HUGE tip of the hat to SIX NATIONS, event organizers, team, officials, and community for a terrific tournament this past weekend.

There were a lot of amazing performances and inspirational stories this weekend, a LOT of amazing lacrosse, so many positives to talk about.
So.
Why not just talk about them?

I don't know if you even know where Arthur is Gary but with a population of 2000 its tough to put together an A ball club, Considering most of the cities we play have more players in there minor lacrosse associations than we do in our town. Also the reason we win games at provies isn't just because of skill, alot was determination and a will to win at all cost, something some teams just don't seem to have when it all matters. Two overtime games and many close ones this weekend, does that mean everyone that came close to us or beat us should be A too? Congrats to all for a great tourney especially Owen sound who battled hard to make the Finals and perservered to make an exciting game although getting off to a shaky start.

population has nothing to do with anything,if you have a good team go play to top talent, just like clairington did last year, they didnt even win B and moved up.

just wanted to say i agree with the comment about sandbagging - orillia was "B" last year and was a totally different team this year and got into "A" - they will be better next year in "A" again and compete for a championship

I agree, 2 of the 3 teams Arthur played in the KO round sunday last year moved up to A(Burlington and Clarington). So its puzzeling why the Aces couldn't do the same. Population shouldn't be an excuse considering one of the few centers who can field 2 Int teams. But I guess at the end of the day its easier to beat B teams then A teams.

Wow you guys caught us....all those embarrasing loses during the season to our fellow zone 8 teams... our meltdown against london and 2 OT games this weekend....all an elaborate plan put in motion by arthur minor lacrosse to create such a sleeper team that we could waltz in and take two back to back INT B titles. Clearly none of you watched any of our games this weekend. All were hard fought battles....Especially against the favoured kanawakne team and our provincial rivals last year Windsor ( Love playing these guys, nothing but great lacrosse from a class team!). If any of you had scene these games you would realize that we earned our medals. Stop underestimating arthur lacrosse and maybe you wont have to continue to explain our success as sandbagging or luck.

We know your a good team, you cant win if your not good, thats why when you win you move up and play at a higher level, simple.

We are kinda used to some off the whiners on these forums, never had respect when we were losing in earlier years, and don't have any respect now when we win.
But I honestly expected more from the KW Intermediate coach. Are you friggin kidding, or do you whine that much when your on the bench too?
Thanks for the "stomping" in the zone "b" final, it was a great motivator...
Guess all that stomping hurt your feet, maybe a day at spa will help next time.
Lots of class KW, lots of class.
