Brockville was C1 in Bantam last year and was a decent team. How did they go to D this year?

We're a C-2 team and they beat us this year 7 - 4, really makes you wonder what's up with that. As a matter of interest, Brampton also beat us 8 - 1 and they're playing D as well. Great job guys, it will be really sweet when Brockville is running around IPA carrying the D provincial championship banner. That's what you call aiming high.

No matter what they "are"...C-2 or D, NO WAY they should have run the score up to 27-0....that is a terrible way to play the game.

I would be more upset at that, no what they should have been rated....

Is the tournament format such that GFA is a big tie-breaker? This is usually the only good reason for a 27-0 score.

Thank you!!!! I thought maybe it was just me. That coach and I use that term loosely,
Should have a good old fashion a$$ kicking. You think the parents would have been ashamed.
27-0 pathetic.

The way this tie-breaking system is set up, it encourages teams to run up the score.

I agree 27-0 is silly, but try this one on if you can. My team missed first place in our division by "1", yes one goal against. So when formula's are what determines who goes on and who does not, this will continue to happen.

In my opinion, and having seen a lot of dumb lacrosse, stupidity from players, and game suspensions in the last two days, I think the number one tie breaker should be penalty minutes against. This would discourage teams from taking idiotic penalties, knowing that it wil lhurt their team.

I also believe there should be some sort of either monetary penalty, or a great number of games missed next season when players from a team that know they are out, fight with a team that they know still gets to play further into the weekend.

Yes, you can turn the other cheek, but when a player is taking a beating and not fighting back knowing he will get suspended, something is wrong.

What does the guy going home have to lose? A $20 fine.
The guy moving on? A chance at a Championship with his team mates.

Just my 2 cents....

Marksy.

If teams are supposedly rated properly how do you get a 27-0 score this late in the year?
