Hello. This is my first posting here and unfortunately I do not know how to attach images.
If anyone may be able to identify, if you could please send me an email at efqueen@aol.com I will send you a scan of the photo.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
You can attach a photo here.
I have a similar problem. Nobody's been able to recognise the officer in my photo. The name is Joseph D. Thompson.
Best wishes,

I would say he is more likely an enlistedman.

You must be right. However, haven't been able to get a response. Our history remains to stay in a haze.

Could it be Possibly be someone who enlisted and was trained in geared at all the camps starting from Toccoa in its original state to camp terms McCall etc. etc. he was a five or 601st airborne paratrooper but we’re glad your patches and wings at all times

Thank you ever so much! I didn't know there were separate lists of the enlisted. I immediately got 10 exact matches to look for in: https://www.ancestry.com/search/collect ... d,+Austria
I wonder how to proceed further.

Here's my take, the patch on his overseas cap is on the side of an enlisted man. I have never seen an officer in the 321st GFA that looked like him. In my book, "Screaming Eagle Gliders", has many unpublished photographs. None of this soldier.

Most valuable help, of which I greatly thank you. Highly appreciated.
Just wondering from where I should search next.
