As some of you know the Rennes Military Hospital (AKA Frontstalag 221 W, EPS Rennes, Stalag 221) for Allied wounded PWs has been my focus for some time.  I have some information about 101st guys I would like to share and also have their unit identification verified.  I have one individual with a mysterious 101st EP unit designation that I would like clarified.  The obvious abbreviations don't match EP but ones that might be a fit are the Recon Platoon and the MP Platoon for him.  Does anyone know what unit he was part of?
PVT 39113983 Molinari, Jerry
The 35th Evacuation Hospital registered him is as:

Below is the listing of all the 101st guys I have identified in Rennes for your review and comment.  I still have a bunch of guys with no unit designation but these are the ones identified against 101st units.
Thanks,

My father, who is listed here incorrectly ......LTC (was a Major on DDay) Gordon K Smith was shot after jumping into Normandy and taken first to aide station in Gourbesville then to Rennes Military Hospital was with the 507th PIR 82nd ABN DV ....not the 506th as listed here.
He was shot through the back and it came out and lodged in his wrist. He was operated on at the aide station by a French Dr. Then was transferred to Rennes, then Chartres then to Oflag 64 in Poland. And eventually to Berlin.

The guys on this list were liberated at Rennes 4 August and the 35th Evac admissions list had unit ids next to about half the names. I have about 345 US troops not linked to a unit. Some on the Rennes Military Hospital Admissions list were sent on to Germany are part of that 345. I have about the same number of British and Canadians not linked to a unit.

I updated my list for Molinari as MP Platoon. Thanks.
