Dam. Full circle.
I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor, insignificant preamble to somethin' else.

How terribly sad. I need to let it sink in a little and will have more to say.

Did you guys see this from the Dark Matter FB page? I think the conspiracy theories and mystery will deepen to a point we'll never know the truth. Rest in peace, Art.
wrote:The Nye County Sherrif was asked to NOT announce Art's passing by his wife, until an appropriate time. Airyn did not want the media exposure until she was ready. In fact some family members were not even notified. Why would Nye County Sherrif publicize Art's passing until the family was ready? They are a disgrace to the community and an assault to privacy. Those of us in Art's inner circle had a plan to inform the family and fans of Art's passing in an appropriate manner, and they took this away from us. Shame on Nye county sheriff department.

We will have official statements and more information soon on MidnightInTheDesert.com and this Facebook page.

So sad he passed. 72 isn't that old anymore if you take care of yourself.

Does this end the publicity stunt?

Seriously? Law enforcement can’t withhold that type of info except to wait for family to be notified, which they did. If the release of info HAD been delayed, THAT’S when conspiracy theories would have spread like wildfire, and everyone familiar with Art and C2C (except Patty) knows that.

God Bless Airyn and those two little kids, what a heartbreaking situation ?

I have to agree with Michelle. Public notices are public. The only way is to not involve the police and if the death was unexpected, there is no way around notifying the police.

He had COPD for the past several years. I have a notion that he was in poorer health than he let on. Possible reason why he never filled in for Heather.

Read in one of the news articles an autopsy is pending. Very probably it was COPD related.

I also wondered whether his health prevented him from doing radio.

He also had a child during his last foray into radio and now a new baby. It is hard to be an effective parent if you stay up all night. I am sure he was on shortwave after the show was done for the night,

72 is not old. Have an acquaintance that if you did not know her age would say late 50's She is 89 this year.

Indiana Jones had it bang on target. Its not the age but the millage.

Someone commented on one of the FB posts that Airyn found Art the same way he found Ramona. No way to confirm that but she also died of respiratory issues didn't she?

Yes she did. She had Asthma. I wouldn't put any validity to any of the rumors floating around. No one knows anything at this point. Its all speculation and morbid fantasy.

I heard the ABBA but must’ve dozed off before Boom Boom Ba, ☹️ I was waiting for it! The Titanic guest was really interesting, probably not new info, but I’d never heard it before.
