1950s vintage motor/generator machine. That ain't no HoFart though, it's a genuine Hobart Bros welding machine.

Lincoln & Hobart both made em, Lincoln probably made more though.

Now, what you want to be looking for is the PTO driven Hobart Bros that looks like one of those machines cut in half. There were a shytload made for the military right up into the 60s. The later manufactured ones were best cause they had a superior insulating varnish.
The bad news, NO damn parts available, and I think Lloyd Matheson has retired from ITW, so there ain't anybody left there who knows the machine.

Given the location of that one, you'd go broke hauling it back to Texas, and unless you got 3Ø power it's pretty much dead weight.
