Even before actually. I've just finished watching the entire Bosom Buddies
series as well and just one word : wouaw !
The thing is : at this period of his career he mostly made comedies... but he was already very impressive in serious scenes...
The scene when he breaks down on the stage when he's father is in the audience, He's actually playing a very sad character, and he played it very well.
Every movie that I watch he impresses me a bit more.
