I saw The Good Dinosaur recently. Really loved the rendering of the backgrounds! Not really a fan of how they designed the dinosaurs but the premise itself made up for it. Really easy to watch, family friendly movie!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens! I even pulled my kids out of school early to see it opening day. I was very worried about them making another one. I grew up on the original trilogy (IV, V, and VI) and I fell in love with them. I wasn't sucked into the story line of I,II, and III, probably because we all knew how it would end. All my worries were for naught and I fell in love with VII. I am looking forward to seeing it again on the big screen.

The last movie I saw was also Star Wars and I also took my kids out of school early!! It was the last day before their winter break so they were just having little parties and watching movies, so I didn't feel guilty about it. It was a great movie! I am a bigger Star Trek fan than Star Wars but The Force Awakens was much better than the newer Star Trek movies. (It's all been downhill since First Contact...)

Oh wow...was hoping to catch Spectre but the movie was not showing in my country's cinemas after just 3 WEEKS of it's release!! @@

Well just have to settle for seeing Daniel Craig in a Cameo in the latest Star Wars film. ;)
Apparently his appearance was not credited. T__T

That makes my last movie seen Hotel Trans #2. ;P

On a side note, who's waiting with much impatience for Finding Dory?? ;P ;P

Interstellar

It make me dreaming

It's the story about the end of the humanity. Breath is too hard for the people because of the dust.

Complicated to explain without spoil.. Ahaha

Let see the trailer

The last movie I watched was A Royal Affair; its a Danish movie with Alicia Vikander and Mads Mikkelson. Its a historical drama and its also one of my favorite movies. Its based on a true story where the queen of Denmark has an affair with the court doctor and it causes a scandal. I know it sounds cliché but I think its beautifully done and the music score is amazing. If you like historical dramas then I think you would enjoy it, its on Netflix.
On a different note though, I've been singing a lot of Mulan and Lion King songs so I'm going to watch those tonight. I am actually really looking forward to it.

Went to see Star Wars yesterday, I was REALLY disappointed, the scenario was extremly bad in my opinion.

Movie is supposed to be a sequel happening 30 years after episode VI, but there's nothing explaining what happened during those 30 years, and how the situation could change so dramatically, from the end of episode VI were the Emperor and quite a lot of his fleets were defeated, to this episode VII were it gives the feeling the Empire/First Order is as strong as it was before, if not even stronger...

Shouldn't the Rebellion have succeeded in retaking part of the galaxy in 30 years ? Shouldn't the Republic have been restored, at least in parts of the galaxy ? Why are the "rebels" calling themselves the Resistance, when they should be the official Republic Army ? Again, no explanations at all in the movie.

I could go on and on, but most of the rest would be spoilers...

I saw the movie as well. The animation was great, but the design of the dinosaurs did feel out of place in front of all that realistic scenery. What I really loved about the movie was how the two main characters communicated and interacted. Even without words, the pure emotion in a few of those scenes was beautiful.

I haven't been to a theatre since I watched San Andreas months ago.
The last movie I watched on DVD was Frozen. It was good, like all Disney cartoons.

The last movie I saw was Star Wars: The Force Awakens in theaters. It was so good! They had some really cool effects and great acting! Although a certain thing at the end was total rubbish. :/ I don't want to give any spoilers but I bet most people know what I'm talking about. So sad. T.T

I think the last movie I saw was Into the Woods?
It's a musical, and while it has its flaws, I really enjoyed it.

I think maybe the second part could have been a bit shorter, but still, it deals with interesting themes and while the message may seem cliché at first, I think it chose a really unique way to tell it. It's good to find stories where they try to convey that there's no absolute good and evil, just people and the choices they make.
