Fantasy and josei. I also have a soft spot for reverse harem, but it's hard to find a good one.

Usually more action heavy seinen. But I really do like stuff like Kaiji and Liar Game that's more about using your mind and less your fists .

I remember obsessing over shoujo romance animes, but soon they got boring :( I kind of switched over to action (or are they called shonen?) animes like Attack on Titan. Now I'm obsessing over Akatsuki no Yona xD First romance anime I've watched in a while. I always like it when they incorporate some action and drama into a romance story. It can't be straight romance for me I guess xD I don't think that made sense cx

I really love magical girls! I'm generally a fantasy person, action shoujo in particular is a weakness of mine. I really like josei too. But genre doesn't matter as long as it's a good story.

I tend to read romance, comedy, school life for shoujo manga. For shounen, I tend to read sports.

I love josei/romance with some smut. But I'm also a big fan of action and fantasy, so like a combination of all would be cool. I've gotten sick of all the school life mangas now, since I've read so many... So I'm starting to look outside the box of romance. I always prefer having some sort of deep bond between friends or anything still that can sooort of be projected as a bit romantic, haha!

The genre I read the most would be shoujo, I like the fantasy or gender-bender settings most, but normal romance works well too ^^. I like it most when the main heroine has strong character or is strong physically too (like Bia in Crazy Girl Shin Bia or Tsukasa in TCP), I dont really like the whinny clingy type of heroines much, but then each rule has an exception.
I do like reading shounen from time to time too (like Kuroko, Prince of Tennis, Hunter x Hunter), mostly adventure and sports for shounen I guess. Next in line would be BL, it's nice and refreshing, especially oneshots or 1 volume stories ^^. Well, there were few seinen (for example Kingdom) and josei titles I liked too (can't recall any titles).
So those would be my favourites, but there are always exceptions, mostly because it depends on story ^^.

I like mystery, horror, and thrillers for manga. I feel like those type of stories translate extremely well into manga. Generally anything more plot-focused without needing extremely dynamic visuals. High action shounen manga for example don't keep my attention very long usually, since I find still shots of action scenes to be pretty boring and unexciting.

I used to read a lot of shounen, because I didn't like romance. I don't read a lot of it anymore, because I've kind of gotten over series that become mostly about fight scenes. Which is nothing against an impressive battle, I just get bored if most of an arc is fight scenes with little to no character interaction/development outside of said fight. I guess I'm into more seinen-type things now? I'm willing to give most things a chance, but I won't stick with a series long if I can't get into the story. Gratuitous ecchi fanservice is also a turn-off.

I'd probably skip the broader categories of shounen/shoujo/etc. and say I'm more into adventure stories. Or mystery stories. Coming-of-age can be fun, too. I generally gravitate towards fantasy, but science-fiction and more realistic settings have been been entertaining, as well.

I liked shonen stuff but new I prefer more seinen, fun comedy and psychological stuff.

So now, it's either fun or really serious with a solid story

Shoujo and josei mostly. Within that I love fantasy, sci-fi, romance, comedy, supernatural, historical and gender bender.

I'm a feminist and I have always gravitated towards strong female leads so that's why I'd mostly end up ready shoujo and josei.

I think my most favourite one would be shounen. It's light hearted and I guess usually has a mix of adventure. But I like various things too, especially dark/psychological ones.
