7-3 Rays. Maybe the Tigers will pull this one out somehow, but I won't be here for it
Offense actually gets going and the pitching falls apart. I think I'd rather see them lose 10-3.

My point (maybe not explained very well, not that that's unusual) is that when the Detroit offense manages to somehow come up with 9 runs it better not let that one get away. I'd rather see Detroit come up with its usual day and score 2 or 3 than have a big offensive day and lose.

Game 2 of the series was more typical of Detroit's offense. For some reason Anthony Fenech thought it was necessary to point out in his game recap that the offense isn't very good. Wow, that's the kind of insight that makes him one of the best. 🙂

I missed game 2 and will miss game 3 too. After today the club gets tomorrow off and then goes to Houston for 3 leading to the All-Star break.

I still disagree.

Although frustrating, low scoring losses give me the most hope.  Means they are only a few hot bats away from turning it around.
