Pretty happy to get this one for my Newsboy collection..........Henry Watterson was the editor of the Louisville Courier Journal, a member of the House of Representatives and is a subject in the N1 and N35 Allen Ginter editors set. Fortunately already had both of those.

Some of my latest pickups:

I really liked the backs of the strip on the right, above, especially the "unauthorized" Oswald the Lucky Rabbit at the bottom.

The Astronauts cards were the Popsicle variation.

My first three of these complete with caps. Two of them have red bottom stoppers, which I've never seen before. It makes me wonder whether they're original.

Nice one, Dave! I have the Crockett Tatoo type on my want list, as well. Never seen a color scan before.

Now, I'm no gun expert, and no one ever accused gum companies of historic accuracy, but the gun on the Davy Crockett wrapper appears to be of the 1870s vintage ... Davy died in 1836. What's wrong with a flintlock?
