Trying out Imgur for July's pickups.

An upgrade for my I'm going to be, a really nice American Beauties, Two IG (there are so many variations between 25 and 48), two War News Pictures (need eight to finish the basic set now), and a Red Menace that I'm hoping will cross.

R112 are nice in that they can be had cheap. Seven more C series here. The 1976 Marvel Super Heroes brings me to within one and I have a bead on that last one. I like the colors on The Nightmare of Warfare.

Here's a nice group of Presidential Play Bucks items. I had a lower grade copy of the wrapper but nothing else. Cool cards.

The best for last. A complete low number set of R151 Tom Mix booklets in really great shape. #1 has a tiny nick in the top and #8 is missing a piece of the back but otherwise really nice. Hadn't seen one of these in person but I like the way that the group looks laid out like this.

I thought I had uploaded some images here on Friday, but I guess not....

I like the way those Tom Mix books look lined up, too, Daniel. And great pickup on the Parade wrapper, Jack!

Like Ken's, most of my pickups are from June (except for the Mairzy wrapper, which arrived July 1).

A nice Father's Day gift.

I couldn't believe how tiny this was! I think the only non-sports cards I own that are smaller are the Wool Candy playing cards. It's no wonder you don't see these too often; kids probably lost them within five minutes of opening them.

I've been waiting a while to get one of these into my collection. The last one I saw on eBay, a couple years ago, I was outbid on and forgot to re-bid until about two minutes after the auction ended. It went for just over one-sixth what I bought this one for. Now that I have one, the next one to come up probably won't fetch $5! Now to find an Opera Bar wrapper....

Congratulations, Jason, on the pick-up of the pre-Topps Topps wrapper. I believe I was under-bidder on that one.

This Big Chief Wahoo cover completes my set.

I love these Washington Crisps Mother Gooseland cards and am glad to add these to the collection, especially the House which is a full 15 1/8 inches long. - Jack J.

Mark,

Completion of a Heinz Airplane Master set is quite a feat! To the best of my knowledge, there can't be more than one or two Heinz Master Airplane sets ever assembled (more rare than a Frank Hawks card or a Heinz Wall Map)!

Happy to help, Mark....you're one of the "Good Guys"....

Allen

I'm happy to add this R714-18 Robin Hood wrapper to the collection. These live-action TV shows are from my childhood in the 1950's and hold special appeal.

[/img]

I'd never seen or touched one of these PX108 (T304)cards before, and bought these two on a lark. I like 'em.

[/img] [/img]

Just got this embossed Heissler & Junge card because I liked it.
