I was wondering today what total populations of 19th century cards might be. How many do you own? What percentage are graded? I own around 1,000 and probably 50 or so are graded.

Thanks for your responses.

I probably have 4 or 5 hundred non-sport with about 10% graded. That's only 5 sets when you think about it. There are literally 10's of thousands of 19th century cards out there you just don't see them show up in large groups anymore. Frank, are you kidd'n me I can't even think of 200 diff baseball cards unless your talking Old Judges, which is still very impressive.

Offhand maybe 4-5000 cards from 19th century. Maybe 10% graded.

I am guessing I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000-4000 different 19th Century cards (maybe another 500-1000 duplicates) and I would guess only 2-3% are graded

300+ actresses, mostly N245 Sweet Caporal.

Several dozen sports, mainly from N28 Allen and Ginter, N184 Kimball and N162 Goodwin.

Plus a small quantity of other non-sport subjects.
