Ho ho ho

Many happy returns to all of you - hoping the holidays bring you joy, peace, and lots of poetry.

And what will 2018 be bringing you? I'm starting a new school year, and it includes a course in Advanced Poetry which I'm looking forward to. As well, I've launched an online Literary Magazine called The Sea to Sky Review which I hope will publish its first issue in April (seatoskyreview.ca). My barbershop chorus will be working hard for a competition in April. My stepson graduates from high school, my daughter graduates from university. And these are just the things I know.

I've enjoyed all our times on the Waters, and look forward to partying with you all on the Beach this April.

Be well
Jude

A Merry Christmas & Happy holidays to you, as well, Jude! Sounds like a great spring lined up.

Am sniffling over here in Ontario, not just because it is so cold, but because your new venture is so specific to B.C. and is not a Waters Anthology. Although I confess it is a lovely concept, the corridor, and already has a ring of success to it, so that I am busy imagining my niece, who is going to high school in B.C. might be inspired to take up poetry... she is so skilled in other arts... and it thrills me to think she might end up publishing work in your mag. That kind of softens the blow.. 🖖 May the Force be with you. It’s a beautiful offering, Jude. 🥂 The literary events section alone, is hopping. I had a hard time leaving the site!

I might have to start a journal for the ones among us who are not from B.C.

Thanks Alison. I'm thinking I'll have to open it up pretty quickly but really wanted to see a first issue being for Sea to Sky poets and writers. Toni and I have often discussed a Waters anthology - I was thinking of an issue specifically for The Waters Poets as well. We'll see how it all goes - really just happy I finally got the site up! Glad you enjoyed it -

Oh darn, I missed this post in December. The journal looks very elegant! Great design/logo. Can't wait for the first issue. I'm deep into poetryland right now, working on revisions and submissions. . . . This is going to be a really busy year for me, too, in many different ways. (But I hope not medical ones this year!)
