One of several things I have been waiting to post about, the library here have Paul's book on the shelves at last!! So I will check again to see how many people have taken it out in another month or so, hopefully it will recruit new members, I see we have got 8 more while I've been off, only 12 more and we've got 150! By the time Jim comes we could be level with TVAG, 180!

I checked the shelves in the library today, and Paul's book wasn't there, so I assumed someone had it out. "Great" I thought, But when I asked at the desk, the girl checked on the computer and said NOBODY had taken it out! I hope it's a case that a member of staff is reading it and someone hasn't stolen it! I'll check again soon. I mentioned on the Waterford Facebook page.

I wanted this book for months. Ever since I got into the Virginian - last December. I found it online, and thought *Wow! That is so cool!* So I went to the library. No deal. I live in a small town, so we haven't got the greatest resources for stocking books. I then asked the lady - "Can you get this book for me from another library on the ILL? Well she looked it up, and guess what? It's not in the region. So she turns to me and says, "Well I guess you can buy it!" Like I hadn't already thought of that!
Anyway, a couple of months later, I went to Amazon, and just looked it over - real carefully. I wasn't sure about it, mainly 'cause of the price, but I got it anyway, mainly 'cause of the reviews, and I was hooked for the next few days. :) I loved it! And I'm glad I bought it. It's just wonderful.
Thank you, Mr. Green. It's great.

:)

Thanks, Rachel, for reminding to check and see has any body taken Paul's book out of the library yet! If he comes to Waterford next year, there could be interest in it.

My copy was signed by Jim in Claremorris 3 years ago and by Gary, Roberta, Randy, Don Quine, Luna (On Doug's page) and geust stars Robert Fuller, William Smith, Peter Brown and John Saxon in Memphis. Next year I hope to get it signed by Sara Lane, Diane Roter and Hugh O'Brian.

Paul's book has been taken out, at last! (And returned, thankfully!) I've let Paul know and said that this will hopefully lead to more people taking it out, if the person who did passes on how good a book it is. There could be a lot of interest in it if Jim comes here next year.

I was checking out the book on Amazon and noticed that the library binding book is no longer available. I am really glad that I purchased the library binding book before the soft cover edition came out. I am awfully hard on paperbacks that I read a lot.
