What's behind door number 2?!

1) Tunnel going back through TWB timeline.. in reverse!

2) Doc's secret lair number 2,386. The MatterHorn Lodge

3) Roger's secret Goldfinger lab. With working laser!

Something else?

That's the maintenance access for Hammerspace. Sometimes they have to go in to inventory the mallets, swords, axes, pipe wrenches, pianos, firearms, and other implements of comedic destruction routinely withdrawn by cartoon characters on demand.

They need all the security to prevent a character who's pulling an item out of Hammerspace from grabbing one of them by mistake. While the hatch is open all withdrawals are blocked, which is REALLY inconvenient when you're staring down the barrel of Elmer's shotgun.
If it ain't broke, I'll fix it!

Unless it's a monster, then you just need the animator to have a heart attack, so the animated creature is no more? :)
