And he's probably just silly enough to sand there and watch himself get hit by his own grenade.

To be fair, being presented with a "WTF?!" moment often results in the observer pausing to try to process what's happening.

Doc's learning from the folks who make speed radars. First you sell the radar units to the police, then you invent radar detectors and sell them to motorists, then you sell an undetectable radar, then you sell a detector for that, then you sell a speed laser, then you sell a laser detector...

It's like being an arms dealer without all that pesky ITAR paperwork. In fact, for paintball gear you don't even have to mess with the FCC like the radar folks do.
If it ain't broke, I'll fix it!

During play, I have actually seen players catch paintballs without breaking them, then dropping them back into the hopper for RTS.

Interesting background picture! It can't be Doc's machine shop because (a) there's no large machinery visible, and (b) we can still see the floor in places.....
Breakfast.com halted. Cereal port not ready.

I doubt Doc's catcher will work against the Doc Specials that Daryl has, those seem to have an explosive charge and don't rely on hitting the ground/target/tree hard enough to burst like the balloon ones.
