When in doubt, hit it with a baseball bat.
Why try and overcomplicate things? You go, Sandy!

Also, I wanted to point out a small thing: I love when the characters treat the panel borders as a real thing, like Doc resting his hand there in the middle panel. Other times include when giving the Fill Station lecture, Doc balanced the small tank there for a moment before it fell off, and when Roger was on the phone with Pirta after Doc's first OD on caffeine, he twiddled his thumbs on it while Pirta smacked Doc with a lead pipe for a while, and my favorite being Roger vaulting through the panel while Doc chased on all fours.
I don't exactly know why it tickles me so, but just something I always loved when it showed up.

Which implies that Sandy was out of Nitro-9.

And here I was thinking, "Wait, Sandy's a ginger, not a blonde!"

Well done, Doc.

Well done indeed.

There is a REASON this is my favorite comic of all.

Glad you all liked it.😁

I have to admit it was all very much "spur of the moment"- the original comic about the mobile coffeepot was actually an old book sketch from the 2006 run. I took the artwork, redrew it and colored it.

Somebody suggested a gag with the thing shouting like a Dalek about caffeine, which was too good to pass up, so that became the next strip.

The rest led off from there. I'd have loved to do a more in-depth storyline (and likely will eventually) but I don't want to start up another long storyline right now. I want to keep it nice and simple gag-a-day for a while- besides which, I'm so busy at the moment with both client and personal work, that it's difficult to think far enough ahead to plot an actual storyline. 😁

Doc.

I was wondering why on Earth something so merely [i[ordinary[/i] as a baseball bat was down there, but it works :)
