I never had problems with my s/o looking at other girls. I think a woman who has that problem should only date / marry blind men. (I am also good at lowering the toilet seat before I use the toilet, btw.)

Sandy might consider Jessie to be competition, in which case she might do something drastic like bleach herself into a blonde bombshell. (If a grizzly bear can bleach herself, so can Sandy.)

A lot of this depends on where you are, and a lot of it depends on the wife. Outside the US and Canada, you can actually get a lot farther on this. My Mrs doesn't want me caught staring, but knows the worst that can happen other than the other woman noticing is me attacking my Mrs at the first opportunity.   She also said that, to some degree, women here expect to be looked at a little.  Most won't admit it in public, but the worst feeling is the first time you pass a construction site and NOBODY makes a rude comment because nobody thought you were worth looking at.

I told her how women in the US can be, and she said she knows women like that, but not as many as I used to run into. Plus, I liked the comedian who said that even if he completely didn't look, his girlfriend would get mad at him. "Oh, don't ACT like you didn't want to look. Miss? Can you come back? My boyfriend wanted to stare at you!"

So, there's plenty of women who won't comment about a guy looking. I occasionally ask my Mrs about other guys, and she's not staring at them. (If she did, I'd do what I could to make her forget them... ;)  which is one reason I ask.)   Then again, she finds me attractive, and I don't see that as much as I used to when I check the mirror.

In general, we have a relationship with a lot of trust and a lot of communication. Then again, it started as a long-distance relationship, so to survive, it had to have those qualities.

I took a married friend into a Hooters. He looked around and said "I can't believe how many girls are here with their guys, my wife would kill me if I bought her in here!" Don't remember which wife he was on then, but, he never learned.

Doc has a point. Sandy seems to understand that they're NOT married, and she understands that men will look whether their women like it or not.

Most of us guys should be so lucky to have a lady in our lives who accepts that.
Even better is one who points out the ones that I miss -- "HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THE RACK ON HER!!!"
If you have been married long enough and truly well enough, you are expected not to obviously look at every passing babe - but she points out the extreme examples that must not be missed:
"Wow, she doesn't even look real."
"Oh, she's cute."
"Look at that one! That butt looks like a separate animal that's following her!" ('Woman of WalMart' - example of opposite extreme."

I would take my guy to Hooters if he wanted to go. That's definitely a "look but don't touch" place.
