As much as I appreciate your artwork, I can't show this comic to others anymore. This entire storyline has been borderline softcore porn, and none of it was necessary from a character development standpoint. I'm sorry. I'm going to miss following the Whiteboard. You've been a staple of mine since before Sandy joined up.

I've been following The Whiteboard since 2014 for the explosions and general absurdity. Great comic. The last comic (9/30) is porn.

I mean seriously... softcore porn? You must be like totally brand new to the internet. The butthertz is strong with you. Both of you.

While I respect your right to not like the current arc, you're several DOZEN strips too late. In fact Doc mentioned a new arc starting Monday that gets back to the classic "stuff explodes because why not" mentality.

I cannot speak for the fans as a community but come on now, softcore porn? I think you need to reevaluate your thought processes, possibly go jump in the lake and pick up the pieces and go home.

Well, have fun. You've attracted the attention you crave (mmm attention mmmmmmmm) and you won't ACTUALLY leave... because how else will you continue to be offended and seek attention? I mean you clearly weren't getting the attention you deserved over at the Questionable Content forums, and Girls With Slingshots ended like QUITE AWHILE AGO. And Girl Genius... The community spit your butts right out last time you got a peek at Colette 's figure.

Foul creatures the lot of you. I suspect we are stuck with you because THIS IS THE INTERNET and it is powered by fools such as yourself. Now excuse me while I figure out how to work the IGNORE function on this forum.

Good day, and don't trip over your bottom lip.

Bikinis and innuendo are one thing. Actually showing characters getting it on is another. PG to R.

This isn't the first time this has come up. Last time it did, Doc went back and edited the strip. I'm looking forward to the new storyline. Getting back to basics. In the here and now, the question is softcore porn. And whether The Whiteboard will be something that's family friendly.

I won't be as blunt about it as Lord whatever, and won't be engaging in personal attacks, but I'm mostly in agreement with him that you and Hallan are overreacting by calling it porn, "softcore" or otherwise.

Personally, I would have been fine with leaving it at the door close from the Sep 29 strip, and think that the nipple bump was a bit much for vague silhouettes, but unless you're using stereotypical Victorian England standards for appropriate behavior and dress calling it "softcore porn" is ridiculous.

(That's what I get for not double-checking before clicking the post button... :P )

You are clearly from some bizarre backwards area if you call this porn. We won't miss you.

... because all I saw was dark shapes on an almost equally dark background. There was a bump which might be a nipple, it might be a mole. And that was after zooming all the way into the picture until pixels started showing up. And since there's no depth shown, what makes you think they are actually in the middle of coitus? She might be on the side of the bed ready to get into the bed.

Y'all seem to have zero problems with cartoon mayhem and violence, but the instant a nipple (or silhouette of one)appears it's Burning Hate? Methinks your 'am i offended' meters need some re-calibration.

(Me? I see a pair of nipples every morning when I look in the mirror. Life is a little too short to be offended by body parts, or the act of two people who love each other sharing their affection.)
