Any more and he's going to enter super-fast stop-time like Doc on energy shots.

I'm wondering if it's a reference to this.

This seems fair. Roger's going through the coffee and the coffee's going through Roger. Time for another bathroom break!

A coffee pot shaped coffee cup. I like that idea.

The straw is a bit much, though. Roger apparently prefers an IV feed.

The straw is of course just a bit of artistic license. Nobody drinks coffee with a straw, I just needed some way to make it obvious that Roj was, in fact, drinking directly from the carafe`, not just carrying it around and pouring it into cups.

And yes, I could have shown him drinking from it, but the recent strips have been specifically about him talking, so that would have been a bit awkward.

Besides, it's TWB. He's already drinking straight from the pot. Why NOT throw a straw in there to make it about 20% more absurd?

(And no, it's not a reference to the Something Positive strip. I hadn't seen that before I did my strips- an interesting coincidence, though. 🙂

Doc.

One of my former bosses drank coffee through a straw (but not from the carafe). She said it was to keep the acidic coffee away from her teeth. Apparently she's not the only one who thinks that straws will protect teeth from being stained by coffee.

I don't see any edit button, or I would have added a few links, like this one. http://dg-dentistry.com/does-drinking-c ... oth-stains
