Don't worry about the text further down the page.
That's just about the upcoming 100year celebration of the RNoAF later this year.

I really dig that paint job. Would love to see the video footage that they're shooting there.

All I saw was the ramp of a totally awesome C-130!

If you like the C-130, have you read 'B-Team'?

Nope, not affiliated, just a fan.

That is some pretty good flying to get that close to a Herc, I mean the turbulence generated by a Herc would make getting that close a whole lot of fun.

From what I understand, the Major(his name is visible in at least one picture) has at least 15 years of flying experience.

Also, it probably helps that the F-16 he's flying isn't a completely 'USAF standard' model.
You can see the pod for the brake chute. That supposedly give the plane a bit more stability sideways.
Then there's the stick. From what I've been told, the model used on RNoAF planes has a bit more play, so that you need to move it further to get the same control-surface movement as on a standard plane. (It's because of our long, narrow fjords. Our jets needs to be able to fly into them, not just over them)

Nice, but Americans already have red-white-and-blue F-16s:

Main picture is of the plane, the pilot and the soldier in charge of the paint scheme.

Also as a bonus, a few pictures from 'Bernt Balchen Airshow' in Norway, where you can see a F-16 flying formation with a couple of Spitfires in one, and a Catalina in another.
