Well, certain switches at least.

Though I can just imagine the 'fun' you could have with a dash covered with switches labeled like these:

Needs a 'Switch to 4WD' button, for all your 'running over passenger cars with a Bigfoot truck' needs.

Years ago, you could get stick-on fake switches, that had a toggle lever and all, that said things like "Tractor Beam", "Cloaking Device", "Photon Torpedoes", etc.

Typical trinket crap from the fuzzy-dice aisle at the auto parts stores.

But, I knew a couple of guys that would buy those, remove the toggle, and use the placard to label actual switches in their rides- One guy used "cloaking device" for his radar detector, "phasers" turned on the running lights, a guy with a drag car used "Warp Speed" on the switch to enable his nitrous oxide, etc.

But yeah, if/when I ever get the new Corvair build done, I definitely want to have some cool buttons like those.

Doc.

There was a joystick device with triggers, each of which played a different gunfire sound effect (MGs, rockets, couple others). Annoyingly, I can't find any of the ads I remember seeing for this, nor can I recall the name ("Revenger", or something).

Bought a pair of surplus buttons. Genuine USAF, with NSN number and everything.

One said "Master Arm"
The other said "Nuclear Consent"

I've installed an sPOD and opted for the comedic effect of Alien lights, tractor beams, sharknado, etc. The only one that is straight up is the Ham Radio switch.

Ages ago (early 1990's) I came across a selection of those same accessory 'switches' and got the Warp Drive one. I had dreams of putting a actual switch in connected to some blue lights (this was long before blue LEDs were around) under my old rusty Datsun B210 to give it a little pzazz for a fellow that was struggling to scrape by. And by chance I found a video, britt I think, about those very novelty switches!

And with that name I found this:

And while doing my search I did find something that I HAVE GOT TO HAVE for my small truck, and I believe many here will want as well, my very own FLUX CAPACITOR!!!

Though a posting elsewhere about a gag switch got me laughing pretty well:https://www.reddit.com/r/CrazyIdeas/com ... dash_that/

My personal favorites:

Now to see if there is a Warp Drive switch somewhere.

I wouldn't mind an extra horn switch in my truck wired to trigger a semi horn, or This one.

Exactly just what it would do is a question. But it should be FUN!!!

The other option is a self destruction rig;

Looks a bit too much like the datacenter EPO switch when I worked for Systematics/Alltel. (eek! years ago)

I worked the Sunday system IPL shift so I had Monday & Tue off.

One fine Monday the halon guy was in servicing the system & tells the day operator "if the horns go off, just press the halon abort button".

Horns went off & Alex goes to the back of the room and found two switches...

Later that week, the one DASD rack (dumb and slow disk) decided to lodge a protest about the mistreatment & we had a head crash.
