That wouldn't have helped me. If I was earthed at all it was a very high resistance path compared to the quarter inch of water and saliva between hot and neutral, so there was minimal current imbalance. The redness around my mouth was probably from flash heated water. (I don't remember if I had burns inside my mouth after that. It was a long time ago.)

The outlet the cord was plugged into was under the light fixture to one side of the mirror so it was almost fully extended, which was probably in my favor. When I fell/jumped/was blown back the cord would have fallen out of my mouth.
If it ain't broke, I'll fix it!

You need to check your numbers and SI prefixes..
a RCD/GFCI normally trips at 30milliamps, or 30mA.
3MA is 3 _mega_amps, or 3000000A....
