He does make his own Dew. Who knows what additives are in there.

Is Elon Musk another one of Darius Tanz's disguises?

That show turned into a soap opera. Or maybe they hid it well the first season.

Plus whatever led to him waking up on an out-of-gas rocket-couch in an unknown Southwestern state the morning after a party :)

That was most likely from ethanol, with trace compounds from a selection of flavoring agents.
If it ain't broke, I'll fix it!

Of course he is!  In fact, a friend of mine uncovered the REAL reason he put a car into solar orbit.  You can read the account of that at https://www.deviantart.com/kschnee/art/ ... -763374379.  (Names have been changed for legal reasons.)

Think about people in the civilian space launch industry - Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson.

Think about the "electromagnetic catapult" or "mass driver" launch technology - a long vacuum-filled, mostly-underground tube in which maglev tracks move payloads at very high acceleration until they are eventually flung from a high place above most of atmosphere into space where they are one minor course correction at aphelion from stable orbit.

Now think about the people involved in building hyperloop transportation systems - you know, big mostly-underground tubes filled with vacuum, containing maglev tracks....  Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson.

Coincidence?  Or master plan?

There's at least a chance that the Boring Company isn't boring at all.  Or maybe isn't intended to stay at all boring.
