I actually can't remember if I nominated or voted for the Locus Awards this year, although I could have. It's been several years since they opened up the process to non-subscribers. This year's winners were announced yesterday, and are listed below. You can see all the finalists at this LINK.

Science Fiction Novel - The Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi. I'll be reading this soon since it is also on the Hugo ballot.

Fantasy Novel - The Stone Sky by N. K. Jemisin, my most recent review - http://templetongate.net/brokenearth.htm#stone

Horror Novel - The Changeling by Victor LaValle, which I reviewed about a year ago - http://templetongate.net/changeling.htm

Young Adult - Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor. I have the first in that series, Akata Witch, but haven't read it yet.

First Novel - The Strange Case of the Alchemist's Daughter by Theodora Goss, also reviewed - http://templetongate.net/alchemistsdaughter.htm

Novella - All Systems Red by Martha Wells, another I've reviewed - http://templetongate.net/murderbot

Novelette - The Hermit of Houston by Samuel R. Delany. It was in F&SF, and I read and liked it, but it wasn't one of my Hugo nominations.

Short Story - The Martian Obelisk by Linda Nagata. Another I read and liked, but not enough to make my Hugo list.

Anthology - The Book of Swords, edited by Gardner Dozois

Collection - The Hainish Novels and Stories by Ursula K. Le Guin

Non-Fiction - Luminescent Threads: Connections to Octavia E. Butler, edited by Alexandra Pierce & Mimi Mondal

Art Book - The Art of the Pulps: An Illustrated History, edited by Douglas Ellis, Ed Hulse & Robert Weinberg

Magazine - Tor.com

Publisher - Tor

Editor - Ellen Datlow

Artist - Julie Dillon

SPECIAL AWARD: COMMUNITY BUILDING & INCLUSIVITY - Clarion West
