There are a very limited number of network shows I'll be watching this year. Only three mainstream shows will definitely be on my regular schedule, with a couple of other maybes. All the following times are for the CENTRAL time zone.

This Is Us, Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC, which returns on Sept. 26.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine, also returning Tues. the 26th, but at 8:30pm on FOX, so one of these will wait for Hulu, or possibly both on Hulu, since I pay for the commercial free version.
Jane the Virgin, Fridays at 8pm on CW, returning Oct. 13.

Also on CW, also on the 13th, at 7pm, is the third season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but I had not been watching that on a regular basis, slowly catching up on Netflix, so I'll put the new season off for now.

I'm penciling in ABC's Ten Days in the Valley, which starts Oct. 1 at 9pm. It stars Kyra Sedgwick as a TV producer whose professional and private life implodes when her daughter goes missing. Also stars Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Erika Christiansen, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost's Mr. Eko).

There may be something else not coming to mind right now, but these are on my calendar at the moment, and of course does not include genre fare or anything planned for mid-season.

I had watched the first three of 10 Days in the Valley, there's still one more waiting on Hulu if I can generate the interest. ABC has pulled it from Sunday nights for repeats of Shark Tank, and it will be burned off on Saturdays, but no word yet on when that will happen, but surely not until college football season is over.

I'm sure I'll continue with Brooklyn Nine-Nine as long as it lasts, since there are numerous characters I like.

I still like This Is Us quite a bit, but I'd like more scenes with Randall & Beth, fewer with Kevin, and would love some flashbacks including William.

Jane the Virgin continues to shine. I love Gina Rodriguez, but Yael Grobglas steals every scene she's in, as either Petra or her twin Anezka.

That is it for mainstream TV right now, for me at least. I'm sure others could chime in with "Oh, you have to watch this..." but I can't say I'd take the advice.
