I finally have a great job.
I have been hired by the University of Alberta (Faculty not the Hospital) Oncology Department. I am on a team of five involved in cancer research. I will be working with a Prof (a pioneer in fresh malignant cell research), a PhD in microfluids, and two electrical engineers. I will be the sole Biomedical Engineering Technologist.
We will be developing new instruments to detect cancer. I will be working with fluoroscopy (x-ray) and other forms of detection.
I waited a while but landed the best job I interviewed for.
so beers on Gary to celebrate!!!
Sounds like it will be quite interesting and probably rewarding.
