Anyone dropped in to Alberta Hobby since they are back? Just wondered if what Gary said is true. I'm out on Saturday so maybe I will be able to drop in.

They had a Hasegawa 1/48 F-18 for a pretty good price, but I can't remember if it was a C or an E. If it's the C I need to grab it.

Thanks,
Jim

.........this sale started Friday so the Vultures have picked it over.

Almost all 1/48 Hasagawa is gone, the Greek F-16 is still there. Jim's F-18s were nowhere in sight.

What was left that may be worth picking up? Cheap Tamiya F-16s, Trumpeter SU-24 (thank-you Chris for saying you want it, thus I left it), and two Tamiya Storchs ($35.00). The new box 1/72 Airfix stuff may interest Vic, there is some new Revell Germany 1/72 kits. There are two 1/48 Chinooks (Italeri & Revell Germany boxing early C and modern D), Italeri's C-27 Spartan, the C-160 Transall.

I loaded up on about 30 more bottles of Gunze paint, mostly British colors.

..........some of the Limited Edition Dragon stuff but I didn't notice a lot of modern. Modern soft-skins but I didn't notice any Canadian stuff. But I also didn't look that close either.

Hey Gary good thing you called. I managed to get there about 2:45. I almost picked up that C-27 but decided not to. The Chinook I already have so did I really need two.

Was it me or was there a whole bunch of stuff gone? Seemed that there was not much left. I picked up some more Gunze paint as well as some Evergreen. I may go back. Are they open on Sunday?
