Donnie-John hasn't even made
it to the Big Chair and already his eyes are rotating in opposite
directions trying to understand what is going on around him. "The Art of
the Deal" was a textbook on opportunism ... you don't have to
comprehend anything or construct a viable strategy, just focus on the
person between you and what you want and put them on their butt. Simple.
Donnie-John is hard wired with this atavistic non-intellectualism. His
advisers have a built in get-out-of-jail-free card because they aren't
the President, the duff in the red hat is. Donnie-John can't navigate a
140 character tweet without a
misspelling, a redundancy, an unsupported conclusion, a lame throw-away
line referring to an irrelevant, disposable, and thoroughly unrealistic
campaign promise that still works like magic to keep the mouth breathers
juiced. The man HAS no plan. He isn't that sophisticated. "The Art of
the Deal" had nothing to do with something as rational as a strategy, it
was all about aggression and who could win the Biggest Johnson bragging
rights. I'm getting whiplash from jagging between laughing and crying.
What a country. It is clear that a large chunk of the U.S. populace has
spent the last 8 years feeling sorry for themselves, nursing their
grievances, and planning their revenge as soon as they got "that
knee-grow" out of the White House. The serious consideration given to
searching for the origins of "voter rage" is a waste of time. It isn't
rage, it's plain selfishness. "I can't have what I want, and nobody
cares, so I'm going to throw a tantrum, and if the country gets flushed
while I'm busy writing in my Book of Woes, well at least every one else
will be as miserable as me." It isn't "voter rage", it's the vindication
of The Loser's Club. Who other than an 80IQ basket case would still be
shouting "throw her in jail"? It's embarrassing. Donnie-John didn't
write his own books. The guy who wrote "The Art of the Deal" is so
disgusted he won't even cash his royalty checks. Donnie-John doesn't do
his own taxes. The one time he mentions his tax man in one of "his"
books, HE SPELLED THE GUY'S NAME WRONG. He has no plan, which makes him
unpredictable, which makes it impossible for people who think for a
living to come up with a way to unhitch his little wagon from the backs
of the American people. Sooner or later, every red hat haver is going to
realize that the man they gave the Presidency to doesn't even like
them. He doesn't drive to happy hour in a pickup truck.

What is it about the Japanese builders' style? I'm not sure that I want to analyze it

too much; I just enjoy the different take.

me :one thing i have surmised from watching a dumpster load of Japanese
movies
is that Japanese culture in any form is essentially
untranslatable. the Japanese
are wonders on (fill in the blank). they
are also ferociously proud, which in a
shrinking world is a sticky
wicket.

all i want is to speak my piecebut that sneakin' lizard always sneakin' me
wants to double my meaning
with his forkéd tongue
divide my song with his diss/o/nance
don' pay him no mind, son
don' pay no him mind
pull yo' dusty harp out a frayed watch pocket
break snake teeth with a shaky riff
don' pay no him mind, son
don' pay no him mind
you may be a master, i might be a slave
one foot in the cradle, one foot in the grave
but that banquet feast stretches out of sight
an' lizards hide from the blazing light
you 'n' me, we got some place to be
don' pay no him mind, son
don' pay no him mind

you write three lines, i'll write two
sooner or later we will break these blues
don' pay no him mind, son
don' pay no him mind

shine him on, friend
don' pay no him mind

RICH WORDS & STRONG HEART, PATRICK PAUL. THANKS FOR THE POST. NEIL

N.C. Sen. Joyce
Krawiec simply followed a precedent set by D. Trump. If you sow the
wind, you will reap the whirlwind. The most horrific part of this
wholesale demeaning of national discourse is that D. Trump will not lose
a minute of sleep as a consequence. Each Journal reader and every citizen of the
United States will be left to pursue the high and hard purposes of
democracy in a trough where he has wallowed.

Immigration from Mexico is almost zero. Money is flowing from Mexican citizens of the U.S. back to their relatives in Mexico. America is already bleeding money because of D. Trump's saber rattling over the U.S.-Mexico border. A border wall will accelerate this negative exchange rate. Mexico is the America's thirl leading trade partner. A 20% tax on products from Mexico will raise the cost of an American car. This policy makes no sense diplomatically or economically. The greatest impact will be on the lowest paid workers in the United States.

Thank
you for a fine article, Eric Wuestewald. The decisions from the Oval
Office show the same pattern of childish impulsivity demonstrated during
the campaign. D. Trump continues to sell, sell, sell. He is "always
closing" as they say in real estate. This endless self promotion is the
mark not of a businessman, but of a salesman. During British Prime
Minister Theresa May's visit it was painfully obvious who the adult in
the room was. Prime Minister May even adroitly stepped in to bail out D.
Trump when he fumbled a question during their joint press conference.
This is beyond embarrassing. The man needs a bit and bridle.

United States President Donald John Trump continues daily to make plain that he is ignorant of the contents of both the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence of the United States. This demonstrated ignorance sets him in breach of trust concerning the oath of office he took at his inauguration pursuant to Article 2 Section 1 of the Constitution. Such a breach of trust is an actionable offense covered as a Misdemeanor in Article 2 Section 4 considering that precedent is a latitude allowed for in United States jurisprudence.
