My forthcoming (initially, at least) free print-and-play boardgame Debacle: Dutch East Indies and Malaya 1942

I am working up a relatively fast and simple wargame about its topic which you can play with family and friends.  You can see the components so far on its thread at http://talk.consimworld.com/WebX/.1ddf5bce  10-day turns 8Dec41-7Mar42, unless Java can be held longer (in which case the ABDA player will get more reinforcements).

I do need help with the air and ground units' organization and strengths, so that would be appreciated.  The unit levels will generally be air group - or multi-squadron, anyway - figuring 2 units/pieces each for the Dutch Do-24K and Consolidated PBY sea planes, for example and regiment/brigade.

It would also be useful to know which DEI units were predominantly European and which predominantly Indonesian.

I *have' done combined operations land, sea, and air games before: 9Apr40:  Norge angrepet!  is at http://www.CoatneyHistory.com/9Apr40Norway.htm and there you can see how I did that one.  (I am over here in Norway now for my two young Norwegian-American children.)

I also did a Guadalcanal campaign game, Sky, Sea, and Jungle DebacleUnits.png also free on CoatneyHistory.

Thanks for any help.

The most important volume in this series

Imperial Japanese Navy in World War II : a graphic presentation of the Japanese naval organization and list of combatant and non-combatant vessels lost or damaged in the war

appears to be incomplete at Hyperwar.

A complete copy in four parts can be found at the US Army's Combined Arms Digital Library site
