The second picture has also appeared on page 13 of Jasper van Raemdonck's "Het Belgisch Marinekorps 1939-1940", and as given as a 47mm (FRC?) gun on either the patrol vessels cum pilot ships "A4", "A5" or "A6".

Each of these vessels had one 47mm aft and two Maxim mg on the searchlight platform above the wheelhouse.

Well, there were several types of 47mm/3pdr naval guns , by Hotchkiss, Maxim-Nordenfeldt, etc...
