He says a line from the movie 'The Hustler' - "This is Ames, Mister" and then imitates someone making a shot in pool/billiards (which is what 'The Hustler' is about - pool sharks).

I've always wondered what that was about. To me, it was in there for comic relief! :D

Oh my god I can't belive that LOL . I love him. Paul Newman and Robert Redford are great. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid is one of my many favourite films. You've probably sen films with him in it and not realised who it was.
Ever seen the Colour of money with Tom cruise? Paul Newman is in that. hey that's about a pool hustler too.
:D
And he was the voice of DOc in the film cars

Did you see Cars? You should do it's really really good. I'm just a child at heart. I took my son to see it in Engalnd when we were visting cousins and Santa left the DVD in his stocking for Christmas. We've wached it about ten times and Still not sick of it.
Have to say though it was only last week that someone told me Paul Newman was the voice of one of cars. I was like I knew that voice.

Ps I do realise that the Color of money is a sequel to the hustler hence my little smiling thing. Fast Eddie's back

Paul Newman started a product line called Newman's Own, which includes the salad dressings; 100% of the profits go to various charities:

Newman's Own

Here's a good youtube tribute video of Paul Newman, if you want to see some good pics and video of him:

Paul Newman

He was a fantastic and well-loved actor all the way to the end. Kind of like Patrick Swayze, he had that ability to come across as tough and sexy at the same time.

Yes, it was the animated film, Cars. Paul Newman was the voice of Doc, the car who was the older judge in the town where Lightning McQueen ended up, and who turned out to be a former racecar.
