I don't know if this is the one you saw or not, but CT played Thomas Chaimberlain in Gettysburg, an awesome movie. My husband and I went to Gettysburg, PA for our honeymoon not long after the movie was filmed there. CT was great in the movie, as was Jeff Daniels, who played his brother. If you ever get the chance (and have a free four hours!), watch the whole thing through. Martin Sheen was in it, too; he played Gen. Robert E. Lee.

Yeah, that's Gods and Generals. He did a great job in that movie, and it's fun to watch. It's not too gory, but it's really truthful to the Civil War. I liked it. It's not one of the boring kind, either. It's great. Thomas Chamberlain was a real person, and he saved his brother's life during the war.

omg, you're so o00o0o lucky you got to watch it in history class! I begged my history teacher in 8th grade to watch it, but he said it was too long to watch and we watched another movie instead. :( I think it was named Glory or something.

I know. I had a great teacher for that. I miss her, though. We even watched National Treasure in that class!
