This has to be one of the earliest commercial ocarina recordings.

Mose Tapiero Ocarina solo with orchestra.

Issued by Victor on 10 May 1909.

First Kiss Waltz.

I was looking at the collection of old 78 records at Internet Archive, and noticed one with ocarina as a keyword.

Awesome performance! Sometimes Tapiero records will pop up on ebay and I found one for $10 of his performance of "Carnival of Venice". You can hear it, along with a few other recordings, here.
