1712 anyone?

<r>I'd like to get one...  It would be great for someone modeling the Griffin Line in 1968 or the Warehouse Point Trolley Museum.  Add some Fairmont wheels, CTCO and Railbus decals, and number it 1712.  1967 GMC <I><s></s>TDH5304.<e></e></I>  Add driver and crew, I'll tread lightly here ; )  ...

Helco Locomotives

<r>Interesting topic.  I have nothing useful to add (sorry), other than for those interested, here's the story of #1 now at the CT Trolley Museum.<br/> <URL url="http://www.ct-trolley.org/collection/locomotive1.php"><s></s>http://www.ct-troll...

It ain't prototype: BSRM RS-3 API 5 Phase 3

The Berkshire Scenic's former API RS-3 5 is (was?) slated to be painted in a NH scheme in tribute to the lines NH heritage.  That locomotive is a Phase 3.   So a 1:1  tribute NH Phase 3 could happen : )

a 70's question

Speaking of Canaan, anyone remember an NYC caboose there in the early 1970's?  What was the story with it? Privately owned?

East Hartford CTCO Trolley operation revisited

<t>This is a longshot by far but is there any truth or photographic evidence of other 44 Tonners beside CTCO 0809 working the trolley trackage? I have read somewhere that 0812 maybe have been used? <br/>  I've also wondered if the DEY-2 Ingersoll-Rand Switchers were ever considered to replace 2022/2...

<t>My father and I went and just got back.  The vendors were all very friendly.  I bought a 2017 calendar, some Shoreliners I was missing, a b&w photo of a Y series 0-8-0, and a ALtlad/Kato RS unit.  Dad bought a few books.  Liked the location and the building, though the aisles were a wee tight...

Parking

I was wondering about the parking?  With the convention and the regular patrons to ride the trains for leaf peeping, will there be ample parking? Thank-you.

movie review

<t>My Dad and I purchased a copy at the show.  It's definitely a flashback of the early 1970s LOL.  Not a railfan video.  That said, it was enjoyable for what it is, we and thank the NHRHTA and PCHS for making it available .  A "director's cut" of unused footage if it exists(?) geared towards the ra...
