Re: NH S-1 & 2 Cab

Mr. Sheridan. While I can only use eyeball comparisons of the two views submitted above with all the various angles of DEY-3 and DEY-5 cabs available in pictures in various issues of Shoreliner  and books about the New Haven, I must be missing something that you have seen. To my mind's eye, the arc...

Re: NH S-1 & 2 Cab

FWIW, the difference in fit between the Atlas S-2 & the Proto2000 is minimal. In fact they are pretty much the same if you disregard the mount tabs.

Re: NH S-1 & 2 Cab

I know this as I have already CAD'd the cab out completely including the Whistle & the train control box.

The Windows are the biggest concern besides the roof.

Re: NH S-1 & 2 Cab

Just as an FYI, if you are simply lowering the top of the cab this is incorrect for the NH S1 & S2 cabs. There are many other differences as well.

Re: Rapido EP-5 "Jet"

Answers! "Why have the GCT sound mode on the FL-9 for pickup shoes that don't drop." Because the costs of having the shoes raise & lower would make the model more expensive than leaving them up? In order to do this, we would need to add hardware to pivot the shoes. This would make the shoes & the at...

Re: Should we make more Osgood Bradley Lightweights?

Re: NHRHTA Tax Return

Ed,

The NHRHTA has been selling models for years. What's different here is the quantity sold in a much shorter period of time.

Re: More Madness from Rapido Trains

The Rapido RDC-1 model is light years above any of the previous brass and/or plastic offerings.  The RDC-2 & RDC-3 will keep that same level of detail & operation.  It is amusing when I place my proto-2000 units next the Rapidos. The Pk2 units look like toys & all the flaws stand out like a sore th...
