Re: Shoreliner vol. 39, iss 4 and NHRHTA Renewals

The cover photo of the R3a is priceless, well worth the cost of the mag.  The employee looks mighty proud, as well he should.

Great article on the EF-4's.  🚂

Re: Electrics at Work

This is more than a model - it is a working museum diorama.  This should be published in RMC or Scale Rails (not necessarily MR) where real hobbyists will appreciate the attention to detail and the skills to replicate reality.

KUDOS to you Ed.  🙂  🚂

Re: Canaan Fan Trip?

That must have been a great trip.  Any idea of the actual routing?

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Canaan Fan Trip?

What is inscribed on the front of the leading RDC under the engineer's window?  Was this unit radio equipped?

Re: A New Haven RR Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all NHRR fans and ex-employees.  You have enlightened many modelers and researchers interested in one of the greatest enterprises that rode the rails.  God bless you all.

Re: Atlas n scale ne-5

Mr. Sullivan - yes, I'm an HO guy so I guess I'll just have to save my coins for another project.  BTW, nice job on your scratch-built hacks.

Re: Old rail

That looks like rather "heavy" hobby.  I used to collect rail spikes from all the many places I walked on the old NH ROW.  Several hundreds of pounds and many relocations later they were finally disposed of in Birmingham, AL.  As they say in the south, "Too much sugar for a dime."

I've got a Waterbury CT yard map from an old NHRHTI data sheet.  Send me your contact info and I'll forward it to you.
