New London, Ct. Saturday July 23, 1966. Freight and passenger trains reruited through Hartford, Willimantic for Boston trains and Old Saybrook, Middletown for New York trains.

December 16, 1968 Train 76 by SS-214 at 5:29pm ran out of fuel at Thompsonville, Conn. 1 hour 17 min's late into Springfield.

SS-274 June 28, 1968. Passenger extra north on Springfield Line with 16 Pullmans, arrived Springfield 10:45pm, went north on Boston & Maine RR with B&M EMD F7-A and B units to Portland, Me.

George, I've got the Dead Head Return of Camp Extras PW-1 and GW-4, 28 cars left Worcester at 1235AM and by Branford 404AM on July 1, 1968.

Hartford, Conn. SS-214 May 8, 1968. Train 56 derailed Hartford, Flatbush Ave. 3:40am. Lead engine 2030 stayed on rails, rest of the train was on the ground fouling both main tracks Hartford Line. Used Waterbury, Highland Div to Newington Jct to get trains through. (Note.! 60ft Osgood-Bradley RPO 3294 ex MEC 612 destroyed in this derailemnt)
