Thank you for this, they still are not sure exactly where this storm will hit but I think we will be affected even if we are not in the direct path. Both railroads in these parts are making preparations for this one. They will remove the gate arms from the crossings and do other things to protect the property and equipment. I think the biggest concern right here is the heavy winds and the possibility of very severe flooding. The facility where I am living is built like a brick s***house, my only main concerns are a loss of power caused by down trees and wires although many lines are underground and flooding, I am several miles west of the beach so that helps. We just have to tie down, hope and pray. I am doing all three.flatcar99 wrote: HI this For Noel and others in fl Good luck and besafe with her moving fast towards fl
Thanks again for your concern, I appreciate it.
PS Tri-Rail has yet to announce their plans, I suspect they will run Thursday and Friday but after Friday, who knows at this point. I just got back from a doctor's appointment and there are lots of traffic, stores mobbed and gas lines all over the place. I am down now for a while.

Bill, will you be making it up to the reunion at Valley RR this weekend (or is Irma changing any plans you had for going?). I'm planning to be there.BX10 wrote: Thanks DBrion,
