If anyone is wondering where the December 2017 calendar photo was taken in Central Falls, which only had multi-track NH lines, here is the answer.  Central Falls is about a half mile to the left.  The train is being flagged over Roosevelt Avenue in Pawtucket, RI. and is on the branch between Valley Falls and East Providence.  The caboose of the train which barely shows three cars back is in Attleboro, MA.  The train is on a bridge (a girder can be seen) that spans the Shore Line and also spans the border between Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  The location once had a depot named Pleasant View, RI.  Following is a photo I took a few years after the calendar photo but I was standing next to the mainline to Boston with Boston Switch in Central Falls less than a  mile  to my rear.  Notice that the tree in my shot is the same tree on the right side of the calendar photo.  Rhode Island is on the right side of the bridge and Massachusetts is on the left.  The train is heading to East Providence. The bridge was originally a wooden Howe truss on the branch the Providence & Worcester built to the Wilkesbarre Pier.  As an example of how things change, the foreground of the calendar photo where Dave Sweetland was standing is now a wide highway with the P&W running down the center in a median strip.
