The December issue of RAILFAN & RAILROAD has a review of a new book "Along the Valley Line: The History of the Connecticut Valley Railroad" by Max R. Miller
From reading the review from Frank Garon it looks like it is a good book too have. He makes the comment that he really enjoyed the book, and every page held his interest

The web sight is www.upne.com it is soft cover 7" x 10", 160 pages, 128 illustrations (12 color). It costs $ 24.95 plus shipping or $19.99 for a digital ebook.

And I just placed my order for one.

It is a great book, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Miller and having him sign the book for me (and several others) at the association meeting at the Valley RR this past September.
