Some of these nominations are damn good. "A Real Hero" from Drive for Best Music? Hell yeah! And "The Devil is in the Details" from Hanna. It's nice to see a lot of love for Drive in general. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt received a Best Actor nomination for 50/50. So nice to see a lot of movies over-looked during awards season at least get some attention here. Maybe I'll actually watch this year. And go Kristen Wiig! It's not surprising she'd get recognized here for Bridesmaids but it is cool regardless. She was awesome in that movie. The worst nomination has to be Liam Hemsworth for Breakthrough Performance for "The Hunger Games." He's barely in the movie. Granted Breaking Dawn scored several nominations, but that was expected.

Breaking Dawn actually only got two nominations, which is a lot lower than last year.

And apparently MTV changed their voting system a bit to make it more legitimate this year and a lot of people in the industry had a say instead of just fans in terms of the nominations.

The Hunger Games will probably win everything.

That is a lot better than Twilight winning everything again.

Happy to see no Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the Acting categories. That actually opens them up to someone else for once. Gosling and Mara are the deserved winners in the categories, but I bet Hutcherson and Lawrence will win both.

Channing Tatum deserves the Comedic Performance nod more than Jonah Hill for 21 Jump Street. He was hilarious.

Pretty decent nominees. I hate it that they mix movies from different years, though.

It's very annoying when award shows do that. Makes it unclear what exactly is eligible.

Colin Farrell can't get an Oscar nomination, but the MTV Movie Awards sure do love him. :p

I can't believe Twilight still took top honors. Thought for sure it was time for a new franchise to take over. And Kristen Stewart acts so awkward.

The Trailblazer award to Emma Stone was funny. Anna Faris was especially funny during this.

I thought a lot of the jokes fell embarrassingly flat. Russell Brand was a bit annoying. "Hunger Games - Twilight."

I'm not going to watch these in their entirety, but I heard Johnny Depp sat in with the Black Keys, which sounds cool. I'll have to find it on YouTube.

The most hilarious win is Josh Hutcherson defeating Ryan Gosling and Joseph Gordon-Levitt for Best Male Performance.

The shrimp also went full douchebag for the ceremony: http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/145700 ... 94FE942516

How is that his fault? Stupid people voted for him, and are you really surprised he won?

Hutcherson is a talented actor and he's very charming and seems like a nice dude. Your beef with him is so weird.

I'm with Sad. This is the MTV Movie Awards. Great performances don't usually have a shot at winning. At least Josh seems like a cool guy and he is talented. Maybe someday he will be a great actor.

It was impossible for him not to win. The teen girls voted for him because they HAVE to love him and the gays voted for him because of what he said at the GLAAD awards after he got an award himself. :p

I just watched some of the highlights and Emma Stone is so adorable. I could not love her any more.

The Anna Faris thing about her was hilarious too.
